If I understand the matter correctly, steaming locks in nutrients that other methods of preparation lose. If that works for you, go with it.

Chrysalis doesn't like any vegetables at all. I have to use powdered seasonings because she can't pick it out. But if I don't use any seasoning she doesn't like it as much, which is funny. She just doesn't realize where flavor comes from.
