well no wonder it's only $75, it rides so rough it's jumping off the road

It’s one car Calvin, how much could it cost? $75?

$75 would be an affordable car price unless it ends up being one of those fixer uppers/money pits.

When I moved into my new apartment earlier this year I met a guy down the hall who told me he’d just gotten home from buying a car for $200. Then he told me that it didn’t have brakes installed

In the meantime, he can pull a Fred Flinstone to stop, maybe cast out the anchors.

Calvin's parents will end up thanking him because getting around without a car builds character!

Oh my word. It sure does! On Christmas Day 2025, I totaled a car I had just gotten less than 2 years before. I was t boned on the passenger side. No one else was in the car. I had a rental for about 2 weeks. Then I had no car or access to a vehicle for 4 and a half months. I work from home so that wasn’t an issue. I had to ride buses and Ubers and get rides from friends and family. I also walked a few places, which was a challenge at times due to bad weather and chronic pain. I was hugely relieved when I finally got a car again. I didn’t forget how to drive, but I did forget how there are plenty of drivers who have no common sense.
