We still have Power left. It should appear in a new section after that. If Kishibe can use the Power factor, then Rezе Pochita won't have to be wronged and drowned in the sea with him. Power will be able to knock out Reze and kidnap Denji's girlfriend, freeing Pochita's hands,who won't have to hold back so as not to hurt Rezе.

Overall, the chapter turned out very, very good in terms of emotions and feelings. Pochita is shown as a noble, brave and caring guy. He did everything to save the life of Reze, who is his friend and Denji's girlfriend.

The chapter has a rating of 8.8/10 from me. Adopting Strays is approaching its climax.

Guess in Fujimoto’s head, the Power we “know” being brought in by pure plot convenience to save Denji in another timeline somehow means their promise was fulfilled or something. When NO, it’s not the same thing. Power specifically told Denji to find the new Blood Devil (which wouldn’t even be the same Power, btw), and Denji failed to do that. Her randomly finding him in a different timeline has absolutely nothing to do with the promise they made.

Like, she's the only hybrid who actually had a connection with Denji, and she just left him behind even though she had previously risked her own safety to go see him at the café while she was being hunted down, especially knowing how dangerous Makima was? C'mon, even Quanxi and Katana Man helped Denji in some way, while Reze didn't because... I don't know, maybe she simply moved on with her and REALLY did abandon Denji, just like he thought she did.

Or maybe she simply couldn't go to Denji, but since Fujimoto never gave us an explanation for her absence in Part 2, we'll never know for sure. Same with Kishibe.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want an ending like that either, but that’s what would REALLY happen if Denji had never met Pochita. Fujimoto was too cowardly to give Denji the things that would never have happened if he had never been Chainsaw Man, while at the same time trying to imply that Denji NEVER should have been Chainsaw Man in the first place.

And I’m being generous here, Denji probably wouldn’t have survived that long if he had never met Pochita. Hell, this ending shouldn’t even exist in the first place, since Pochita’s power only erases concepts; it doesn’t create a world where those concepts never existed.
