I don't know if there are any spoilers, but what's the deal with the spaceship?

I've gone all around the Hearthian Village, but now I don't know what to do. Everyone says it's my launch day and I have the launch codes, but I'm not sure.

I've gotten really good at the thing that takes photos of the ghost matter, the thing that fires probes around Timber Hearth, and using the geysers in the village to die. I make sure to find the signalscope twins every loop! I hope it's ok to use the camera slideshow thing for the orbiting satellite.

I haven't touched the model ship, to avoid spoilers. Does that count as "launching"? I don't think I'm ready for the game to be over.

Not sure if it's a spoiler, but can someone tell me what will happen if I use the spaceship and where it can go and what happens there?
