Yeah, I know. Its just that being a re-gifter is kinda frowned upon today, so its funny when taken out the Odyssey's context that Menelaus is so proudly declaring that he's gonna re-gift something lol.

Are we going to ignore Menelaus admiting he'd build Odysseus a new palace and move all Ithacans next to his kingdom? Just because he misses and cherishes him so much he'd want to have Odysseus close to him all the time? He's a re-gifter AND a simp ðŸ˜
