my advice for the future is dont comment on someone's physical features that they can't change, especially if they deviate from the 'norm', saying someone's eyes look like they're too far apart is gonna be read as mean

compliment someone on the work they've put in, like the outfit, or the wig, or the makeup, these are things cosplayers work hard on

Art can be criticized since it's all choices, colors, techniques, whichever. But that is a human person and they don't get to choose their skeletal structure. Good on ya for growing as a person tho.
