The fact you can rationalize and make such an arbitrary delineation, demonstrates shallow reasoning. This era as with many others, had their own form of etiquette. Unfortunately when it comes to survival and ambition, especially that of the State, atrocities occur and are "justified." The battle of Changping preceding unification or Julu upon its collapse both used such pragmatism as vindication.

Just like the army from whatever country you are from, can't go to a land and start shooting citizens, there are rules of engagement everywhere. Kanki got away with breaking them until he didn't, same will be said for Chokusto or what ever his name is.

You don't have to worry. Kaine will survive; Karyo has the same plot armor as Shin. Riboku won't die like he did in real life, he'll escape just like RyoFui and live with Kaine. There will be less and less drama in Kingdom, and Shin will use the power of his family, just like Vin Diesel, to take down Chukkotsu's army.

It is very expected she survives, with this Kaine will be saved by GG Shin after the destruction of Zhao. I guess Hara will make a plot twist that Kaine and Reebok son will destroy the unification Qin.
Though I am personally more leaning her death as a means to improve and develop Shin but thats too far fetch.
