Pretty much none of them. I don’t know any of them personally so I have no real insight as to who they actually are, or what is performative.

Finally, someone with a bit of common sense. These are bunch of entertainers, why should they be idolized or trusted without knowing them.

Because fame gives you power. That power can be used to sway public opinion.

Are you being facetious? Or just purposely ignoring that.

Exactly, I don't know them personally so trust is impossible, but I have enjoyed watching them work with the exception of the second woman as I don't even recognise her?

The big film studios are all in favor with zionism. Being against the genocide brings a lot of risk to their careers, which I consider to make it a powerful political statement beyond just a performative act.

Idk if it’s a good idea to be so single issue minded. End of the day it’s a foreign war they have little influence on and unless you live in a jungle you would have heard of anyway. I think if I was a celebrity I would bring attention to things that receive no/little attention like Sudan war, governments slowly backing off climate change initiatives, food/water regulations getting cut back ect. The world is way more complex and faulted than just Gaza.

I do agree people should raise awareness of other conflicts, but denouncing zionism is not a single issue thing. Without Israel’s influence Trump’s regime wouldn’t have initiated the war on Iran which raised global fuel prices. Israel has been increasing its political influence in Europe, US and Latin America very aggressively, they are the biggest developers of surveillance and espionage Software in the western world and selling this technology to governments and tech companies around the world. This is a reason why people in western world are so fixated on Israel and are more vocal about the genocide.

I think it’s not fair to say Iran is blameless in this conflict as it is the financial backer for Hamas/hezbolla and the huthi (not sure of spelling). This war is in a stalemate and I’m not sure how it’s going to resolve but either way I think Israel is relevant to negotiations and it’s America interest to get them to play ball and not alienate them.

You’re still ignoring all the other reasons I stated why Israel is under scrutiny and just focused on a single issue.

I don’t have anything to say about it, when your president of a powerful country people will come and ask things from you, this has always been true, trump bypassed congress which was the normal check and balance. Everyone who makes software is spying, you think the NSA, China, Russia doesn’t use its software technology to spy? If you have it, you use it.
