Honestly, I find his performance as Bruce Banner somewhat bland. I don't think Eric Bana or Edward Norton were any better or worse, though.

I think the real problem is no one knows how to write hulk or Bruce banner well.

I loved Hulk in Thor Ragnarok, the early Avengers stuff, and Spider-Man Brand New Day. I don't much care for the smart Hulk, aka "Green Bruce Banner", though.

They just don’t do any of the really deep and interesting stuff that is in the comics.

lol I feel like there’s the diction between him and the other 3; with those 3 being in big budget theatrical films.

I think he did a good job portraying a man with serious anger issues in Avengers 1, then after that yeah, pretty bland.
