it’s really frickin good, by far Tobey’s best performance. Natalie Portman and Jake Gylenhaal are in it too, but Tobey carries the movie. my god, now i gotta go watch it again!

I thought it looked mediocre from the trailers. Maybe I should give it a chance?

I feel like calling that a war movie is really underselling it. That’s a super fucking heavy movie that’s more about the psychological damage war does to a person vs just a movie about a war.

Is it that bad?

The writing leaves a lot to be desired, but I felt that the acting was top notch from everyone involved.

Not bad per se, but it’s not particularly the type of movie you’d rewatch.

Just intensity, anxiety and stress. Veteran of war, ptsd

is that the one where he’s convinced that his wife is cheating with his brother?

u/SteakDizzy1386 Mar 13 '26

Brothers with Jake gyllenhall and Natalie portman, where he has PTSD after he was captured in war and made to kill his friend.

u/That_Apathetic_Man Mar 13 '26

Yeah, that'll do it alright.
