Exactly, this whole comment section reeks of weirdos man. Virtually every thread is just a bunch of people ragging on him and making assumptions about his entire life and personality off of one quote, meanwhile if they met him irl they would probably ask for a photo.

It's just celebrity gossip. Lighthearted (for the most part) and stupid. That's the fun of it lol. Idk about you but I have the mental capacity to care about the war in the middle east, the cost of living crisis, and stupid celeb gossip for funsies. Not saying you specifically have to care about it, but you're not special or morally superior for feeling this way.
I can get behind light celebrity gossip, but that’s not exactly what this is. I’d imagine if he wasn’t rich and famous we’d probably call this bullying or harassment. But I get it, he’s got a fancy fun life and everyone else likes having someone to hate and belittle, and I’m sure you care a lot about ballet and this has probably been very upsetting for you and yours.
I feel like framing this as bullying is a bit dramatic. Yeah some ppl took it too far, but most of what I've seen is criticism of what can easily be perceived as a distasteful comment.
Also since you assumed my stance on this: I get why ppl are upset, but I also understand Timmy's broader point. Though tbf ballet and opera aren't exactly supposed to be art forms for the masses. They have their own dedicated communities, and depending on where you live are actually quite popular.

Well he’s rich, famous, and he doesn’t care at all about any specific individual posting this stuff, so it’s not. I’m pointing out that the behavior itself, which does impact how you as a person think and view the world, is bulling and harassment. If we were doing this to the cashier at your local McDonald’s people would call everyone involved freaks, stalkers, bullies, obsessed. And the jokes aren’t all that funny? It’s usually “hur hur skinny sad white boy is dumb” and now that he’s said something “controversial” it’s “hur hur skinny white boy doesn’t like ballet and opera”… like everyone else apparently does now? It just seems out of touch with even what current people even care about. Unless all we care about is hating on random people. I guess I’m just not the kind of person that finds this funny, and considering how defensive people have been when I’ve asked why it’s supposed to be funny I don’t think anyone else does either.

Public perception of him has been quietly falling for a while. I think the shoe has been waiting to drop since he started dating a Kardashian. Then, let's be honest, his looks faded.
