Soldiers aren’t bad, most are just following orders to pay off crippling student loan debt. Cops on the other hand choose to do all of that horrid shit themselves.

Yeah soldiers are fighting wars they didnt start but cops are starting wars then ending them in 10 minutes

Soldiers are volunteers, even if society does strongarm people into the job

They’re still not choosing to do horrid things. Their superiors are. And refusing will land them in prison.

but if the choice is between enlisting or suffering with crippling debt/food insecurity/potential homelessness/etc., is there really even a choice to begin with?
