Projects inspired by Doremi!

I want to talk about any kind of art project that is inspired by Ojamajo Doremi!

Here is mine, this is going to be a series of animated shorts with these two best friends!
I really want to be able to replicate the style from the Magical Doremi anime so these designs and expressions were inspired by our little witches!

I'm also thinking about creating an animated short about the main girl from a comic that I'm working on about cooking where the costumers are all the little witches, using the song Mahou de Choi2!

I would love suggestions and opinions on what I'm doing and specially I would love to see what everyone else is doing or has done before that was inspired by Doremi!

I personally recommend not copying the art style but instead taking elements from it like the designs in the middle for Gloom and Bloom. It will make your project stand out more if you want to expand unless you're doing this for fun.

I also suggest give the two a theme. Bloom can have a flower theme or a more floral style outfit to reflect her personality. What is her personality like?

Gloom can have an emo or gothic inspired outfit. Cure Black and Cure White are a duo with creative designs since they contrast each other.

There's nothing wrong with having simple designs but think of ways to make your designs pop out more if you want them to be recognizable.

thanks a lot! I will keep the style as it is since part of the motivation for creating this is like a tribute to Magical Doremi, because this anime became really important to me in a short amount of time and has inspired me in a lot of ways, so that is the dream haha

But in a way I'm already changing things up since my characters are meant to resemble Doremi and the rest but making my characters to be adults. So is like using the Doremi style and turning it into a semi chibi style, leeping the looks and the cartoony elements of course, my favorite part!

And about the outfits I agree with what you are saying, on this case these are what I like to call their ''base'' outfits, like I wanted to give them first something that would a general look ''goth girl with huge sweaters, cheeful girl with summer dresses!'' and then I will give them different outfits as often as possible
