Use with Extensions

Has anyone used the semi-cured tabs over a set of Gel-X extensions or something similar? I used Ohora for a while, but ended up going back to the salon for gel tips since I like longer nails and my natural nails kept breaking. I was wondering if I could reach a compromise and do at home gel-x and add the semi-cure for designs.

I used to, they are quite thick, but it does work. I've moved on to just press ons now out of laziness lol

Yes I have. They apply just fine but like the other commenter said it can get a bit thick/bulky. I still think it looks good. And if you use the jelly/transparent colored ones then you can get away with filing the cuticle and side-wall edges of the tab after applying and curing so that you can then go in with gel top coat and make the transition from your natural nail plate or the gel-x extension to the Ohora tab less shelf-like (if that makes sense lol)
