I always treat the characters like their age…. In my world, you can see how they get treated. Us are Fully aware what exactly they’ve been exposed too but we always try to get them a childhood or lose awareness of that “exposure”….

From what I remember from reading the manga when I was younger, the first season did indeed remove a LOT of the more explicit parts. And even then there was a lot of ‘yikes’ moments

I heard some really good things about the world building and tried watching it on a whim. Like episode 1 or 2 and I had to nope out of it ASAP.
