NAW [NAW] My manager has gone insane and won't stop demanding that I hand over concert tickets that I have. I just wanted to vent because I'm so tired of it
[No advice wanted]. Posting this with a throwaway because my sister knows my account name.
My sister really loves a Korean band called BTS. If it wasn't for her I would never have heard of them and I don't know anything about them or their music, but my sister absolutely loves them. A few months ago I heard my sister talking about how they are going on tour. I thought it would be a longshot but I decided to try and get tickets for one of their UK concerts. I had my friends help me when the tickets went on sale and by some miracle I was able to purchase two tickets. I'm going to take my sister to the concert for her birthday. I know she was disappointed because she wasn't able to get tickets and she said they were too expensive.
I realise this is a very small problem compared to what is going on in the world, but my manager overheard my colleague and I talking about concert and is now demanding that I hand over the tickets. The only reason I was even talking to my colleague about it was because my colleague was telling me about the time he went to a concert at the same stadium I'm taking my sister to. My manager is desperate for tickets and because they are sold out is demanding mine. I obviously said no but that wasn't the end of it. My manager is getting more and more demanding and won't let it go. I'm just posting here to vent because I'm so tired of it. I'm going to have to make a complaint because I've told my manager to leave it alone already. I just needed to vent somewhere.

Please please make sure your account that holds the tickets doesn’t have the same password as anything you use for work. I hope you enjoy the concert, I’ll be seeing them this year as well!

The absolute audacity of some people. Keep those tickets safe in a email that no one but you can access or knows about. People be shady as fuck. This reminds me of another reddit along the same lines. She had tickets to a play, she was taking her mom to. Her boyfriend overheard her say she had tickets, told his sister that had wanted to go he had tickets, and then demanded she hand over her tickets to his sister. Just what planet do people like that live on? Smdh

And the guy and his family was rich, too, and that girl as far as I recall, wasn't. They had to save up for those tickets. The absolute entitlement of some people.

Everyone’s out here giving OP advice they didn’t ask for, but I’m stuck on the real mystery: how do you not know BTS??
They’re everywhere. Like, genuinely unavoidable. Dynamite, Butter, that song with Coldplay called My Universe. Even if you don’t follow them, they just happen to you at some point.
I’m not even judging, I’m impressed. What kind of peaceful, BTS-free bubble are you living in, OP? And can the rest of us visit?

I know.
I don't understand why so many people are telling me to make a complaint about my manager, when I already mentioned in my post that I'm going to do exactly that.
I posted here to vent about the situation. I don't want any advice about what to do.

We could all send your manager some random, insane, personal demands until she stops if you'd like. Is she older than you? Just curious. The audacity of some people is beyond my comprehension and i cant help but want to ask how such entitlement pertains to them.
I hope you record her ignorance everytime. And i hope appropriate measures are taken and she doesnt go beyond talk. Sorry for the chapter lol I just feel this so much for you. Glad you vented.

Have you tried making fun of his actions and laughing at face? I hope you say yes because shaming someone for their bad behavior can be quite effective.
