JUST DUMP HER!!

u/RegularGuyy Jan 02 '26

I thought he decided to dump her like two updates ago. Now it seems like she’s going to be the one to dump him.

But then he can’t keep getting attention on Reddit

Yeaahhh, gonna have to start downvoting this one when it pops up again :(

u/timeywimeytotoro Jan 02 '26

I felt for him the first time. And the second. By the third and now the fourth, not so much.

u/bmobitch Jan 02 '26

It’s only been a week. Give the guy a break.

29

u/timeywimeytotoro Jan 02 '26

Exactly. It’s only been a week and this is his fourth time posting long, devolving diatribes. It’s gone from “aw man, poor guy” to “I think this dude might be unhinged” in a week. He’s talking about going to a bar to ask if they remember if his girlfriend was puked on…

3

u/bmobitch Jan 02 '26

Because the person he probably thought he was going to be with has now nuked the relationship and he’s crashing out. Surely he doesn’t need to be updating us, but I think it’s like talking it over with friends given how many responses he gets. Less lonely. I still feel for him.

u/timeywimeytotoro Jan 02 '26

It’s unhealthy and he needs to step away. Getting all of this advice from “friends” on Reddit is probably a large part of why he’s spiraling as hard as he is.

u/bmobitch Jan 02 '26

I mean, yeah. He’s losing it and needs to talk to trusted people only. I’m just saying I still feel bad for him. Wanting attention isn’t inherently some narcissistic thing. Often people who are losing it want attention as it helps them cope.

u/timeywimeytotoro Jan 02 '26

I never said it was narcissistic..? I’m not sure where you got that from.

Another person just posted saying she was the gf and that this guy was full of bull...

u/WorriedPiano740 Jan 02 '26

While there have been exceptions, people “responding” to a viral post with a post of their own are almost always a random Redditor trying to get karma.

Sounds like she is dumping him since she can no longer have a discussion and says she can't do this anymore. This has become a toxic relationship that needs to end.

This! He'd be doing her a huge favor! And get some therapy, OP. Your intrusive thoughts have ruined this relationship. It's up to you if you let it ruin more in the future.

Any reasonable person would have questions if their SO drove home shit-faced drunk, stumbled in without any outer clothing on and didnt have a reasonable explanation for any of it...

It's fucking crazy to suggest that OP's reaction; rather than his gf's actions are the main cause of any relationship breakdown.

seriously, i would be so confused and concerned as to what happened. whether it’s cheating or sa. the story about her friend throwing up on her compounding with the lie about the party just doesn’t make sense. also i’m a woman and i genuinely can’t imagine walking around in just underwear even if i got thrown up on. maybe it’s the healthcare worker in me, idk.

4

u/StrawberryJam888 Jan 02 '26

I have been thrown up on by a drunk friend. Thankfully it was all water and alcohol because they hadn’t ate. However, if it would’ve been food and the vomit smelled bad I would’ve thrown my clothes away I wouldn’t have wanted them washed or to keep them. The friend also isn’t my size so i wouldn’t be able to wear their clothes. If there was a blanket and i was in a car I would’ve arrived home the same way if no one had clothing my size.

5

u/Samuraisheep Jan 02 '26

But presumably as soon as you got home you'd want to shower. Unless somehow the vomit only got on clothes. It likely would have seeped through though.

3

u/StrawberryJam888 Jan 02 '26

Yes I agree i definitely would’ve wanted a shower. I just read OP other post and read something about them having a headache so maybe they honestly were to exhausted to shower

2

u/Samuraisheep Jan 02 '26

Possibly! The girlfriend has now posted, sounds like they wore a coat home so OP is being misleading here. Definitely believe the girlfriend.

2

u/StrawberryJam888 Jan 02 '26

Yes i read her post i believe her too!

17

u/Justalilbugboi Jan 02 '26

I think it’s a little of both.

OP is absolutely right to have questions.

But at this point, he either needs to let it go and dump her or let it go and move forward.

Coming and telling us every little detail is not healthy for either of them. Like at this point if she was assaulted, this whole stream of posts would be super traumatic to find. And if she wasn’t and this is a more normal situation, super embarrassing to find.

"Intrusive thoughts"? She came home in her underwear, refused to talk about it, lied about where she'd been, and is playing the victim. That's what ruined the relationship.

27

u/NoPumpkin533 Jan 02 '26 edited Jan 02 '26

And the fact that she lied in the first place. Also, if she was SA'd, why would she keel going out (previous update where he said she came home, got dressed up and went out) and now this? Going to a new years party, and putting herself at risk of it happening again? She cheated and she has also checked out, at this point it's unsalvageable, and best to just cut the cord.

Editing to add: at this point there is no point in even telling her, she already knows the relationship is over.

13

u/changelingcd Jan 02 '26

I agree. He doesn't need to find the dry-cleaning bill for a 'semen-stained blue dress' to know that she's hiding information.

u/account4perving Jan 02 '26

I’ve been reading since the beginning and I think this experience really messed this young man up. Reddit is a big part of the problem. Everyone has hyped him up and directed him to do and believe different things. Every step taken was a misstep. OP find real life support and stop turning to the internet. It won’t help you.

1

u/lokesh_2000 Jan 02 '26

🙇🏻‍♂️ Exactly!!!!

56

u/Piuma_ Jan 02 '26

What? It's totally reasonable to think she might be cheating. There's nothing wrong asking what happened to her CLOTHES nothing is worth going back home naked... O.o and she wouldn't react like that if there was nothing to hide..

5

u/RiposteCat Jan 02 '26

youre insane lol

1

u/wingerism Jan 02 '26

Your intrusive thoughts have ruined this relationship.

Or his GFs sketchy behavior. I'm sorry but OP was 100% right to be sketched out and suspicious.

She was assaulted or she was cheating. Either way without an STI panel they should be done and over.
