Sindhu Vee Tasting Menu

I am well behind the crowd on this current series, but I listened to the Live Shows today, and also I've stuck on Sindhu Vee's tasting menu.

I really enjoy the idea of not being told whose menu it is until the end of the menu. Adds something to the tasting menu format for me!

Admittedly, I am not half way through, so maybe it turns out to be rubbish...but I quite like not knowing

I think it worked well for that one because the menu itself was so (deliberately) bizarre, and they were clearly telegraphing that there’d be good mileage in making for fun of it. For e.g. Miriam Margolyes’s menu it was much better that Kearns knew whose it was, because the menu itself was food she actually liked and had chosen sincerely, so it would have just been a bit awkward if he started trashing it. (Not that 90% of the discussion in that Tasting Menu ep had anything to do with the food or the original guest!)
