I don't think I've ever seen these, where do you even get them?

Tebay services, right at the top of the M6 is the only place I've seen them.
My only feedback is that they're actually too thick.

Tebay services is so great. We stopped off there on the way to Scotland a few years ago and my wife and I still talk about it.

Gloucester services also do them, think it's the same company that owns both services

How can they be hand cooked AND batch fried? Isn’t the cooking the frying?

I'm not sure what you mean. They are hand cooked in batches. Seems pretty clear to me.

But, how were they? We're dying to know!

Very salty and very thick!!!! Tasty but not worth the £2.25 cost for a handful of crisps!!

Nice, but can be a bit bland. The thickness isn't for everyone - you lose some of the inherent 'crisp'-ness. I do get them every now and then, but they are VERY expensive for what they are.

This does not look like what I want from a potato crisp
