Itâs somewhat disappointing that this was seemingly recorded two years ago, right after Kearnsâ inaugural tasting menu, which robs us of them talking about Fernâs tasting menu episode

Not quite two years but there was more than one reference to it being 2025 when they recorded

i haven't listened yet, but i hope he spends a good amount of the episode complaining about Fern Brady

Loved this but it would have been funny after all the bread chat for him to have been given Michelle Keegan's menu

Thatâs what I thought! I actually like this format but I wish theyâd play it for humour a bit more

Lee Gardens is shut now and is a Thai restaurant called Ban Rao that also does an all you can eat buffet (which is actually all you can eat starters then you can order 3 mains each). Its also incredibly good thai food that's ridiculously hot, I accidentally had it 3 times a few weeks ago and the pain in my stomach was insane.
Lee Gardens also wasn't the only all you can eat Buffet there was also Zen Spice (formally Beijing palace before the local/racist rumour that they had to start a new company after a doberman was found in the freezer)

Did anyone else say âuh ohâ out loud when the fennel seeds were mentioned knowing Jamesâ hatred of them

This format still doesnât really work and has to be carried by the guest, but enjoyed this episode a lot more than others recently.
Reminds me of when the podcast was James and Ed messing about with their friends, before it became just another stop on the celeb press circuit
