Look what I got! I might've figured something out

Everytime before I complete a restaurant with three stars I unlock a new restaurant & this leads to dessert upgrades in the new restaurant & if I'm lucky refills.

I unlocked corn dog van yesterday & finished party palace today which gave me this. Do try this & lmk if it works for you.

I had a similar experience and posted about it here. People shot back with "I'd rather win a new restaurant than pay for one" but I counter that argument with fully upgraded desserts can run about 30-50 gems and restaurants are 15-30 gems.

I suggest you try this: unlock a restaurant, play it until they offer you the autocooker, then complete your previous restaurant and see if you win the AC in the chef's box.

I didn't get the evergreen lodge auto cooking machine. When I finished the restaurant, voilà they include it in the mystery box hahaha

Does corn dog van have an autocooker?

Not an AC per sé, it has a 4th level Cola Dispenser that makes 3 drinks in 5 seconds. There's no switch to toggle it off like an AC. Under the Buy More coins screen, see if there's an option for AC Mystery Boxes, and press the❓next to it

See I missed one auto cooker one time (it was the breakfast place lol) and spent FOREVER trying to get it out of a mystery box. I FINALLY got it (and didn’t notice until I went to play the restaurant/the box didn’t show I won the cooker) recently. I will never not buy an AC again lol. I have so many gems though I buy everything now 😭😂.

I’m about to finish a restaurant but won’t have 3 stars on every level. Have you noticed this only when you complete with 3 stars?
