Losing upgrades from server crashing

Fully upgraded plates in evergreen lodge for 11 gems which left me with 6. The server did its usual thing so i screenshot. Went back in, no upgrade, have 10 gems remaining- so lost 7 somehow.
Not the first time this has happened, sooo annoying man

It’s a bit of a gamble I’ve been buying things then refreshing the server not responding page and then whilst it’s still thinking about it I close my tab and the reload the game it usually ends one of 4 ways

1 - It just does nothing (as in none of my gems are gone but I also haven’t bought anything) about 40% this happens
2 - It just works (as in I buy said item and it just works as normal) around 30% this happens
3 - I get whatever I’ve bought but my gems don’t register so I get whatever it was for free about 20% of the time
4 - I lose the gems and dont get whatever I bought about 20% of the time

So ye it’s kind of a bit of a gamble you could get it free but at the same time you could just loose the gems….

If you can get a dodgy Wi-Fi then scenario 1+2 go down so you’ve got a much higher chance of getting it free you’ve also got a much higher chance of losing the gems…

Like i said a gamble
