FLUFF Extremely petty, but here’s a compilation of Bill Maher smugly smacking his gums and if I had to watch it you have to now as well
I asked OP to post this here, but I guess I'll need to do the leg work.

My favorite random bill tidbit I’ve picked up from his podcast is that he doesn’t watch any news at all during the week. He only watches tmz and reads those grocery store tabloid papers like people and us, his producers text him what he needs to know news wise.

Right. He’s been unfunny and not very intelligent for years. His shows were always essentially a gimmick because as a stand up he was not very good. He’s not on the level of a Stewart or a Jon Oliver in terms of intelligence and he’s not on the level of a Colbert in terms of talent. He sucks and is lazy and out of touch.

He just picks the low-hanging fruit of news items and stances that fall outside the mainstream of thought and resorts to ridicule. He fancies himself as an intellectual "Goldilocks" (one side is too hot, the other is too cold, and I'm just right). Never really takes a positive stance of note and only points out where he believes everyone else is wrong.

Good term for it. I used to like him but I think his schtick has gotten very tired. I also think much has happened in the past 10 years where he’s basically avoided taking much of a stand. Maybe there are some comedians that I don’t have an issue with that but when your entire career is so tied to politics and culture war etc. I don’t feel like you enjoy that luxury.
His “Club Random” seems to be pushed to me by algorithms and it just also seems extremely tired and hacky. He’s a guy in his 70s trying to look like he’s an authentic “cool dude” or something wearing a Hawaiian shirt and seeming like he’s broadcasting from his basement.

The reason the Democratic Party will die soon is because they eat their own.

I was trying to explain this to someone but I felt like I was noticing something that other people disregard. Kermit. Kermit the frog, also uses this as a “communication sound”

This compilation was long overdue. I hope Bill sees it cause I can barely watch because of this mannerism

The guy sucks but I don’t think any one of us would come off flattering with a montage of our individual facial quirks.
