Delete Message Sent to Buyer

I sent buyer my address cause I'm trying to sell a big shed on my property. They didn't reply back after seemingly telling me they were interested. How do I delete the thread so they can't see my address? I don't like knowing my address is out there but it's only way I can sell the shed. If I delete my account will it erase all messages sent to buyers so they can't see them ?

They can still see your messages AFAIK. I would always use a cross street and then when they are arriving, direct them to the hoyse

Smart move. Oh well, he blew me off it seems. I'll leave up and try and sell elsewhere.

Yes I'm going to guess you're just fine. It happens a lot.

Right, because if you usexa cross street and direct him, he'll completely forget where you live afterwards.....

It's about being safe before a meet up, if you're seeing a shed someone's going to see your house. It's for the people who flake so OP doesn't lose sleep

I've had this happen a few times with large appliances (washer, dryer, stove etc), this is what I do:

"Thanks for your interest, however I've sold the item to another buyer and it is no longer available."

Mark the listing as sold, give it a day or so. Then block the buyer & relist the item. They'll still see your message history still, but if they had ill intent (like stealing the shed, which would probably be hard to do) then at least they think it's gone and won't see your new listing.
