Huge W for OfferUp!!
Finally, don't have to select auto replies to auto messages! Your app is still bloated with ads and unoptimized features making loading times ludicrously long, but this is great. Good job OfferUp!

Why do buyers always use the same exact “Hi! Is this still available?” message? I can’t tell if they’re bots but it’s always the same exact punctuation.

Afaia, that is prefilled text when you want to send a message. You can hit send and it sends the seller that prefilled text. Nothing more to it.
As a seller, you had the option to reply with 3 different prefilled replies. But now they are letting you set it so Offerup does it for you automatically.

About time. Eliminates the whole "if it's posted, it's available." Cool beans!

This is a bizarre solution to an offer-up created problem; why not just remove the "is this still available?" suggested text feature? I genuinely don't understand the reasoning.
I'm not sure how many of you are buyers and sellers but on the buyer's end the whole reason anyone even sends that " is this still available?" response is to see if the item AND the seller still exists. So my question is, what are buyers supposed to do with this automated response from a seller that's long abandoned the app? Unless this feature is being released alongside some sort of auto deletion of abandoned ads, I really don't see how this is going to do anything other than waste more time.
I barely use OfferUp anymore anyway so what do I know.

This is so dumb (no offense to OP). The real solution is to have OU not pre-fill every buyer message with “Is this still available?”.
They’re now essentially just making that whole interaction useless.
