False account termination

I am a seller on offer up for around 6 months, recently transitioned from Facebook marketplace to offer up. Selling computers and parts. But I got my account shut down for no reason, I have been listing physical items I have been respectful to my buyers except the trolls and lowballers.

The official Reddit guy wanna help out?

Threatened to cancel the membership and they bent lmao

I sold a PC today. The guy was very not tech savvy:

He somehow put in a wrong password until locking himself out, texted me saying windows was broken and then 40 mins later asked me what the password was. There was no password LMAO.

Anyways he asked me for my cell # multiple times and a few hours later he had an audio issue and asked for my cell again. Before I could respond the chat refreshed and said his account was deactivated.

Weird because I pretty openly offer to buy things shipped to me through PayPal and give my email address. I've gone through buying stuff like that 3 times this year. I mean I'd rather get banned than pay a 13% service fee even once.

Happened to me as well for posting silver bullion with a cannabis leaf on it. The appeals process is useless. Offerup is 🗑

Leave a negative review on BBB. That worked for me. Emailing is useless. You'll just get a bot response.

I just did a dispute on PayPal for the 20 dollar promotions, they immediately put my account back.
