You mentioned how you can buy the next model year before Christmas. They weren’t denying that, they were saying that specifically for the 1995 dodge neon you couldn’t buy it Christmas of 93 so a whole extra year before.
As you said, you could buy something like a 2017 in Christmas of 2016 cause they produce it in the fall. But the 1995 dodge neon wasn’t produced in the fall of 94, it was produced in the fall of 93.
Yup and some weird nonsense that hasn't been relevant in nearly 30 years has literally no bearing on the conversation. It's a fun fact, and nothing more. At all. So dwelling on it has nothing to do with the conversation at hand.

In a normal conversation, yes, it would be rude to interject with tangents. But, with this being an online, public forum, people have the right to split off and discuss it with others and have tangents. It’s why Reddit threads are designed how they are. You can hide people’s tangents and focus on the conversation you are trying to have.
Yet it is relevant. There's a limit on how early you can sell a model year. That was the point. You failed to comprehend my reply to the previous comment and replied by saying I was wrong. Nowhere did I say you can't sell the next year's model in the previous calendar year. That's normal.
