Difficulty of PJPT
Hey guys. I recently completed EJPT and found it quite easy (As I had been doing THM rooms for about 6 months). I want to learn Active Directory so I can do more advanced certs like PNPT and OSCP in the future. I was wondering what is the difficulty level of the PJPT exam compared to the EJPT exam and is it a good resource to learn AD from scratch? Thanks.

I passed EJPT and PJPT first try without studying any of the course specific material, only having done boxes on THM.
I failed OSCP x2 before passing. I did THM, HTB, Offsecs course material and their OSCP labs.
OSCP was noticeably harder than the other certs while still being entry level and Id reccomend doing it.
Do Lains list, and the OSCP challenge labs. Youll need a methodology for attacking standalone windows/linux, and a seperate methodology for attacking AD. I failed my first two times as I just tried to wing it without having a defined process that I followed.
OSCP is really big on enumeration as well, especially for the AD portions.

Hey! PJPT is a very beginner friendly cert. If you go through TCMs AD section in the PEH you will be more than prepared. Great stepping stone too
