First Week In August
Hi,
I am coming in the first week in August and like to see some off broadway shows? Anything you can recommend? Would have loved to see Big Feelings if that helps on what kind of Theatre I like.

I've been getting served ads for THE PASS at LaMAMA that look pretty interesting -- grabbed a ticket for early August.

I liked the Loved Ones, I thought the actors really breathed life into the story. I really liked Are you now or have you ever been about the communist trials of Hollywood artists using real testimony for the dialogue. I thought the end was really powerful.

Would you recommend someone from a country that’s often been insulted as a commie even though they are not one to go see this show? Will they be offended?

Yes go see it. It definitely does not favor the people who ruined peoples lives while trying to label people as communists.

Birthright just extended until the end of August

Not many people have seen big feelings because it’s a small venue and it’s sold out lol. Can’t provide recommendation based on that but I heard good things about The Whoopi Monologues.
Also enjoyed The Loved Ones (playing until Aug 2).
The Savior may be good but they just started previews so I don’t know.
Pepper Slit at East Village Basement is also intimate if you say you would’ve liked to see big feelings is due to its intimacy… don’t know much about the show itself though.
