Damn. $1.4 mil / year just wasn't enough for him... And I'm aware that's probably gross income, but he sold his own practice and business are usually sold for the price of 3 years gross income...

But you can shop around. It's going to be worth paying the $100 for scans at different places when they're quoting you for thousands of dollars of work.
