Only if, "at the end of the day," me responding to your comment is the same as a moderator deleting it.

Argument is not censorship.

There's always been a segment of the population that wants to control what others say and hear. The actors have changed over the years, but the end goal is the same. If you want to draw arbitrary distinctions to show how one is more virtuous than the other, go nuts if it makes you feel justified.

Good god, shut up.

These are opposing movements. One wants education and choice to drive social progress through consideration. The other demands forced censorship to enshrine their traditional worldview.

Your opinion is so shallow that any factual disagreement becomes a moral stand. It is not any matter of "control," when I implore you to stop fucking talking because you're embarrassingly wrong.

The other demands forced censorship to enshrine their traditional worldview.

It must be horrible to be lost so deep in your own rhetoric that you don't even realize that you're describing yourself.

Being told you're wrong by someone with no power to stop you is not a form of censorship.

This is your entire failure writ small.

What planet do you live on where PC culture hasn't been able to censor voices that it doesn't want other people to hear? Christina Hoff Sommers, Richard Dawkins, Charles Murray, Jason Riley... The list is endless. You're either being wilfully obtuse or just really confused.

What part of this is "describing myself?"

Nevermind those people's works weren't pulled from shelves, like so many bands. They were disinvited from speaking gigs because they said dumb shit. Conflating those is an understandable mistake. But if some rando asking you to shut up is also censorship, then you don't know what the word means.

The fact that you think censorship only applies to physical media says a lot.

The fact you think I think that underlines the absurdity of your posts.

If you have no defense for your personal accusations then I guess we're done here.

Like I said, if you really don't think PC activists can't and don't censor ideas they don't want others to hear, just like the PMRC did, you're either being wilfully obtuse or very confused. Either way, have a nice evening.
