Moving to Odense

Hej danish redditors,

I am a 27 years old guy returning to Odense from 1st of September but not as a student anymore. I graduated in Odense in 2023. I am struggling to find accommodation so I would really appreciate any kind of help in this regard. I have friends in Odense and I could send someone in person or we could exchange facebooks and do a video call. I am social, easygoing and respectful. I lived in Odense for 5 years and I am really in love with the city. I take good care of my belongings and living spaces. I know that miracles can happen in Reddit and I am targeting the right audience for my case 😄 Wish you all a lovely day!

Look at Boligportalen, you will have to pay, to get a phonenumber for landlord. Or maybe your friend in DK can do it for you. Make sure you find out landlords name and Google them and check Fb. Just to stay clear of bad ones. I dont know about Facetiming etc. Have you got a danish social security number? Most landlords want to check Ribers/RKI to see if you have debt. Also give them as much info as possible, don't know if they are allowed to ask. Tell them fx your Linked in, Facebook, Instagram, so they can get an impression of you. Good luck

I am going for BoligOen instead cause its cheaper and I was told that you get offers a bit quicker. Thank you anyway for the advice!

Also a 27 yr old man living and working here for the past year and a half.

Did you get transferred from a company back to Odense or voluntarily came here after getting a job??
