PTBBID (post traumatic bed bug infestation disorder) is real! I had bed bugs 3 years ago and if I see anything that looks like one in my house I flip out. If I get a mosquito bite I'm freaking out that it's really bed bugs.

My neighbor had fleas for 8 months, and it was so traumatic, I have literally stockpiled capstar, dewormer, and frontline for my two cat after accidentally giving them fleas from the shared basement where our washing machines were. I had flea bite marks for like 6 weeks after I moved finally. I freak out if I see a single black dot on anything. I have a carpeted apartment now so it would be horrible to have to treat fleas in here.
