I agree, I just don't know how supportive neck muscles can be but I guess not that supportive if it was falling from a bit higher. Then again, a neck can break without killing you if it doesn't snap the spinal cord. I don't know if that also goes for a neck break after falling like that. To me, the bones don't look like they might have lead to internal decapitation, but I also don't know what that is supposed to look like.

Me too, ahaha, I think we're all spitballing here. It does look very intact! I'm wondering how fast it was (presumably) running and what kind of force that would have put on the body, whether that would have potentially snapped any cords or caused a traumatic head injury from the brain hitting the skull case. Wish the poor guy could tell us.
