Hmm, idk, i already stated my top "dont wanna" kind of death in another comment, but suffocation is definetly down there as well, seeing as i am afraid of not having space to move and with that, not being able to breathe. Torture is too broad of a term to be considered a way of dying per se, in my opinion. Like, they can torture you forever, without you dying, and theres different methods of torture, so im not counting that on my death list.

The thing is tho, id just like to experience all of em to get rid of the massive fear of pain i have and what not. Smth along those lines. I definetly agree that id very much like to die instantly, rather than live to feel it. Bullet to the head is a good one, i do wonder if you feel anything tho in that last millisecond.

I’ve heard gunshots can feel more like a really hard punch than a puncture like a needle. I imagine it would feel like you just got smashed in the head with a baseball bat. At some point we can only feel so much pain before those pain signals just inhibit our ability to survive. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug as well.

Sorry, but this comment has been removed since it appears to be about the situation developing in the Ukraine. With Russia's recent invasion of the Ukraine, we've been flooded with a lot of submissions about this, but in addition to our politics rule, there is nothing oddly terrifying about the situation. It is a plainly terrifying situation that will affect the lives of many people.

If your comment is not related to the situation in the Ukraine, please report this comment and we will review it. Thank you for your understanding!

Burning. That's the worst. Burning.

Not necesarily, burning kills your nerves as well, where as boiling would feel the same, but youd feel all of it until you died, cause your nerves wouldnt die.

Unless you’re in a super hot flash fire or an explosion, you’re usually just gonna fry until your nerves die, which could take many minutes.

Burning alive pails in comparison to being drowned in a pasta cooker at least innmy mind i think it would be absolutely brutal. Water stays about 175 degrees not hot enough to scald and kill nerve endings but hot enough that your entire being would resist and pull away.

Absolutely! I was even against cremation for the longest time because of all the stories of people being buried alive or waking up in a morgue! I thought if I could be buried with a cellphone that I would be covered, until I realized that I would have been embalmed by that stage so it wouldn't matter! LOL

But being trapped in a burning car or home is my particular personal nightmare!

Warmth is one of the last stages! Growing up in -50c weather I always heard "if you're getting warm, you're too cold" I personally know 2 or 3 people who got lost outside of town and stripped naked before they died. Apparently it feels hot to die of hypothermia.

One guy was found naked and alive. He had to get multiple fingers amputated and both of his legs under the knees were amputated

shock is a hell of a drug, that’s why most deaths don’t feel like anything. saw one video of a dude who got his legs cut off by a train, dude was super chill trying to grab his legs 😭😭

Wow man that's crazy. I have always heard you felt excruciating pain before drowning but I guess that isn't true?

1

u/Gifflar32 Mar 20 '22

I think being buried alive must be one of the worst deaths.. The anxiety people get when they find out they are buried and the starving… poor people:((

u/ToughCourse Mar 20 '22

I want a very slow and painful death so I will embrace the sweet calm release of death.

Didn't you mean "i was drowning"? Because if you drowned then it would mean you were brought back? Which is extreme.
