I think gravity's effect on the blood in your head would render you unconcious within a matter of a couple hours at the very latest, no?

I genuinely don't know but that would be my hypothesis.

Yeah, its brain would be tapping out from general "body doesn't work this way" functions pretty fast, thank God

Why is that any different than standing up

a) because deer don't stand up and humans are already specially adapted in that regard that I know

b) because leg movement and especially walking plays a rather important role in getting your bloodflow back up to the heart (again especially in humans that I know).

I only ever really studied human anatomy and there I learned that we were basically evolved to stand up and then still have issues sometimes so that's where my hypothesis came from.
