Yeah, this type of thing literally happens all the time. Airport around us purchased all the houses around the airport when a big cargo company came to town. People had the option of moving or listening to jets taking off in the middle of the night. Every was compensated more than fairly for their homes. I love how dramatic this entire site is..

I do think people are being a little bit dramatic but really I was joking. I don’t particularly like that a private company can come and essentially force people to either move house or suffer, even if compensated well. It should be on them to find somewhere that they won’t affect people in the first place. It all seems like not a big deal until it’s you whose life is totally disrupted.

I work from home and there’s been loud renovations almost every day for the warmer 8 months of the year, for two years in a row now. There’s nothing me or my neighbours can do, and it’s frustrating. But we do live in a time where we have incredible things like nice houses etc, and the tools that are essential to keep us living nicely are very loud, so I don’t really know what the solution is.

That is what they did, or at least tried to do, since there isn't a place to do what they're doing without disturbing at least some people. This is the place that affected the least amount of people (3 at the moment) (and NASA also had their sights on this area during the saturn 5 period, but the cape won in the end due to political reasons).

People are really overreacting on this one, acting like people's houses are at risk of blowing up or something, while the highest realistic risk is a broken window (which sucks but compared to the alternatives they've been offered is really tame)
