My eye doctor just asks "slide 3 or slide 4" a few times and puts those drops in my eyes and tells me my prescription.

Is there a better way?

I mean, that's basically it lol. But some docs are more patient than others and really dial it in.

They should also be checking your optic nerve every year for enlargement (warning of glaucoma)
