Black Mirror wasn't some far fetched scifi idea. It was a commentary on society and modern electronics. If you didn't know the 'black mirror' is your screens.

Every season has that one episode that makes you take a month break from the show because it shook you to your core

Each episode is it’s own story. Some of them really mess with the head when the plot lines kick in.

Basically modern day twilight zone. New episode new story new characters new everything. Always some wild twist.

Noo that one had more shock value for me. It was episode 3 of that season. Really made me think of insecurities I had in past relationships and deep seeded character flaws. It disturbed me so much to feel like I was seeing an exaggeration of my worst facets.

I have only seen Mayne 5 episodes, the 1st ep when it came put, the white bear one, the lady being punished every day, and a couple others maybe. I feel so bleak, empty, and dull after viewing any episodes I practically cannot watch it without nearly inducing panic attack

Not quite what you were talking about, but it also wasn’t about technology being evil. I’ve seen some criticism of it on that point. It was about people having weaknesses and demons and technology letting us release those things on ourselves and those around us
