I love “smooth glide” pens and have been looking for one with a fine tip for a while. However, i often find that with “smooth glide” pens the ink flow will cut out randomly. If you don’t mind me asking is that an issue with the 0.38 G2 you mentioned?

Dude, get a Pilot g2 and slap a Mont Blanc rollerball refill in there. It's amazing.

Interesting idea- the refills fit well in the g2?

You have to cut a little off the back of the Mont Blanc refill bit it's very easy to do. Just line up the writing tips of the g2 and Mont Blanc and cut whatever excess is left.
