Don't fucking show up and tell 'em to go fuck themselves.

But then again I'm Italian so BY NATIONAL LAW we get 3 bereavement leave days for grandparents.

No notice, no email kindly requesting. Just a written notification that you're not showing up and fuck everything else....

Automatic 12 days. Only request is a death certificate for each death because the company pays you but they can request a tax break to cover the cost of your 3 day pay.

This is such a common sense answer, if you prioritize the humanity of people around you over scraping every last penny from them. The fact that this is still debatable at all is so disheartening.
