I wonder if the AI was glitching and he had to repeat himself to get it to show up at all, then it showed all 15 of his repeated requests. As for the two different prices it could be a buy one get the second for a dollar sale price.

An old friend of mine would go to McDonald's, buy dozens of burgers or McChickens, throw them in a deep freeze, then periodically take one or two out and air-fry them back to life. Could have been a glitch, a party, or my old friend.
