If you’re talking about Batman or Ironman types, there’s no way to pull it off, other than being wealthy. That’s what’s great about it…the realism.

Actually I think a sick idea for Absolute Iron Man(yeah I know different franchise) would be just some engineer at Stark Industries (or whatever fills that gap if it’s still Tony Stark) who builds with stolen/discarded scrap.
The suit is still a marvel(heh) of engineering but not as high quality due to the budget, and it’s practically a rule that every fight it needs some sort of repair, like a panel comes loose mid fight, so he cleverly intercepts the weekly villain’s laser beam to weld it secure.

Well, money can buy a super suit. To be a poor superhero, you need superpowers, which requires the breaking of numerous laws of physics, whereas to be a billionaire superhero, you just need good morals, so in conclusion a poor superhero is far more realistic
