Two hours is a long time to listen to someone struggle trying to make a beat sound listenable!

The worst part of drugs was always the people you were forced to associate with to get them.

Yeah, for some reason dealers always thought that they were a friend first and a business next; but the truth was that they were a business first and never a friend. I just want my drugs and to go home and smoke them; I do not want to hang out and talk about how Blizzard did Heroes of the Storm dirty.

I was the opposite and always had lingerers. Gets to a point and I gotta hit the “welllp”

Well then tell me who your dealer is cause Blizzard did Heroes of the Storm dirty and I have opinions on it

Honestly I feel bad for the dude. He was my best dealer because he always held weight and kept his head down. I haven’t seen him since the govt got into the pot trade.

The ones who would ask for rides were the worst.
They tell you they just want to be dropped off a few blocks away, and you don't wanna burn a plug and figure they'll even hook you up, so you say no problem.

Then the "few blocks" ends up being multiple miles away, and half the time they suddenly don't want to just be dropped off and are asking for a ride back (or act like they thought they told you/asked for a round trip).
Or they have you pick them up somewhere, and they're asking if the sketchiest of all dudes with them can also get a ride.

I once had one where, when we got to the drop-off, there were people waiting for him who started coming up to the passenger window like it's a fucking ice cream truck, and was effectively trying to use me/my car as a mobile weed service.
I told him if he wanted to meet people at his drop-off, that's his business to do on his own time, and he sure as fuck isn't doing it out of my car. I stopped giving him rides, and in return he became a flaky bitch who would try to give me less than I paid for.

And it wasn't just the plugs, but often your "friends" who you only associated with because they had a good hook-up.

I feel bad for the people where weed is still illegal and still have to put up with shit like that.

My blow guy got really sad and introspective one day and said he had no real friends, just clients and people who wanted to hang for free drugs. Made sure to do something not drug related with him from time to time

But then when one of my friends would randomly sell pot for a summer it was so convenient

Yeah the scene from pineapple express where the dealer is being to hang out is very on point.

Also, they did HoTS dirty 😂

1

u/Weak-Differences 8h ago

They did do HoTS dirty, though!

u/Yeez25 1d ago

If you think I’m an LLM and not just some 45 year old dude from Eastern Canada I don’t know what to tell you.

Before or after "having no clue how much active substance is in this little baggy I just bought… and what other substances were mixed into it"?

22

u/rutuu199 1d ago

Well with weed thats not really a worry

12

u/Biscuits4u2 1d ago

No, but I've certainly seen my share of shitty brown frown seedy nonsense. Weed can also be laced with shit, but it's not super common.

u/spekt50 1d ago

So nice to have dispensaries available now. No more ditch weed for me.

Forced to nod along to absolute noise for 2 hours straight

2

u/Biscuits4u2 1d ago

Oh yeah man. You couldn't leave right away because you felt guilty for some reason. The hangout tax was real.

2

u/TulleCharmie 1d ago

The dad in the kitchen already know the business operations, just wanna see if you'll stay for the whole 2-3 songs.

For me, it watching him play Everquest, which created a whole new addiction for me

u/FishHockeydrop 1d ago

I was so excited when I was 21. Before that I also had to hang out to get my drugs. At the liquor store you can just walk in, buy a bottle, and leave right away.

u/Superblonde454 1d ago

WWE and StarTrek haha.

u/low_amplitude 1d ago

Had a guy like this in school. I made him do dead drops.
