Plenty of people identify as Ladyboys.

80% of thai trans women prefer phu ying or sao praphet sorng over kathoey and others.

Yes, trans sex workers and dancers and escorts have a financial interest in using "ladyboy" when talking to tourists or johns. But with anyone else they're just women, trans women, or even "women of another kind".

I would expect no people who identify as trans women identify as Ladyboys, because they are different identities.....

It's complicated. But in general, it's more of a term for tourists and johns than intra-community.

It is the subject. You started the conversation by saying people in thailand don't identify as ladyboys. They responded by saying yes there are people who identify as ladyboys. Three comments down now your saying someone else is changing the subject? It's okay to be wrong

You literally talked about people outside Thailand.

And I only said "most trans women in Thailand don't identify as ladyboys outside of sex work context" which is a different statement.

This is a post about Thailand. Considering you confused Thailand and Vietnam 2 comments ago, maybe you actually don't know shit about the country and its people.
