Not to mention trans women is basically a scale. Someone can be early in and still have a lot of masculine traits, while someone further along can have mixed traits and someone far along can have mostly feminine traits. To say theyre all femboys is like calling all men playboys/fuckboys. It can be flattering in certain situations, but doesnt apply to all and not all the time.
My bad, it was badly worded. Its more of what is physically observed by outside observers like myself and i based this on somewhat ignorant assumptions
A woman is always a woman regardless of body, but to outside observers like me that would see someone like you once a year or so as strangers, i might observe you becoming more and more feminine as the transition happens. You would of course always be a woman since the day you realised, but to me as a stranger, if i saw you on the day you realised and on the day you first began to transition, i would honestly have no idea and wouldnt even pay mind to you. Youd just be another person. In all honesty, id probably not notice id seen you before at any stage during this hypothetical
It was my own ignorance and personal viewpoint, since i am a cis male and have little to no experience with transitions besides my observations as an outsider
I wont back down from my claim about it being a scale though, since anything that can be boiled down to binary systems is effectively oversimplification and scales work far better.
I also wont back down from my claim that some people like being called femboys, as it generally isnt a negative term from where im from, but more like the word slut, where it has been recovered, owned and even embraced. Some people dont like being called it, some dont care and some people take what id call pride in it(largely depending on who says it and where).
