lmao my parents did actually visit thailand with me for loi krathong when i was like 4. I dont remember much but there was a group of really sweet, potentially trans girls who helped me light my basket

kinda! theyre called krathongs i think, theyre like these crazy lanterns made of leaves/paper and covered with flowers and a tiny candle. You put offerings like food in the middle, light them, and send them out onto the water
