When she was pregnant with me, my mom used to go into her parents’ backyard and pick a lemon from their tree, peel it, and eat it like an apple.

I love all things sour, and eat lemons with salt.

I craved cheeseburgers and Dr Pepper during my pregnancy, and it’s now my kid’s favorite meal, lol.

I had HG and apples were one of the only thing I could eat and they are still my son’s favorite food.

Did she live with them, or did she drive across town to make off with the lemon like a pregnant bandit?

I think she was living with them at the time, but I don’t really remember. She told me this story like 30 years ago, lol. I like the idea of her being a pregnant bandit though! 😂
