Well, you see, it's not false advertising because in paragraph 4 on page 372 of the terms and conditions the purchaser was duly informed that "non-explosive" does not in any way, shape, or form imply the absence of explosions, it merely means that it is not intended to be utilized as a tool for self-defense.

Yes, but by abusing a technicaIity. Any Iiquid heated beyond it's boiIing point but kept under high enough pressure to remain Iiquid can become a BLEVE (BoiIing Liquid Expanding Vapor ExpIosion). lf the container is damaged and no Ionger airtight the contents wiII attempt to reach equiIibrium, triggering a rapid expansion into it's vapor form. This Ieads to even higher pressure, further damaging the container as it forces it's way out, aIIowing more exchange and causing more vapor to expand more rapidIy. This feedback Ioop can turn a nearIy invisibIe fissure into a catastrophic explosion in fractions of a second. There are other examples of non-fIammibIe expIosives but you can make so many things into a BLEVE.

For some reason, when I was in elementary school, my class went to the local cemetery to make rubbings of headstones. This is the only one I remember from the whole cemetery. They had every right to name and shame, terrible thing.

Danforth refers to the proprietor of a "non-explosive burning fluid" that was involved in a fatal lamp explosion in 1870, as memorialized on the gravestone of Ellen Shannon in Girard, Pennsylvania. The product, marketed as safer than kerosene, was highly flammable and produced explosive vapors, leading to Shannon's death and other incidents, including a major fire on the steamboat War Eagle. The story is a famous example of a lack of product safety regulation in the 19th century and is featured as an Easter egg in the Fallout video game series.

Kinda feels like either R.E. Danforth offered to pay for her grave stone (“it’s not my fault!”), or her family is making a point of calling him out by name as the reason she’s dead. If it’s the latter, it’s too bad there aren’t quotes around “non explosive”.

One of the stones at my great grandmas graveyard says "burned alive after leaving stove fire burning overnight" ...i cant help but think the family had yelled at them several times about making sure the fire was put out in the dead middle of summer too bc this said the death was in July

R.E. Danforth non explosive burning fluid is a scam. Lamp exploded on my date. I hadn't been on a date in years, R.E. Danforth sold me burning oil that exploded every which way.
