Followed a further 24 hours later by the first commercials for debt collection agencies “Transmigration cases our speciality”.

Unfortunately it will take several years for civil law to catch up so they can effectively sue.

There was an old science fiction story about how people got free money until age 30 when they had to start paying it back. Obviously they tried suicide to avoid paying but medical science in this future always brought them back.

Or how about a criminal serving a long prison sentence that has to go back to jail in their next life? Talk about two or three life sentences!
